LINCS WINGS Out and About
Hunstanton Light Parade - 29 March 2014
Well our first Light Parade of 2014 turned out to be an excellent day. Glorious sunshine and little wind meant that it was an ideal day to dust the cobwebs off the Goldwing and take it out for an airing. Arriving at Hunstanton Seafront, we saw lines and lines of parked Goldwings with their paint jobs and chrome all shining in the sun light. We also met lots of other riders and people who just wanted to look and ask questions about our machines. The static display ran from 10.00 till 16.00 and then we moved our bikes around to the Coach park where the Light Parade was to launch from at 19.00. The parade itself circled the town at least twice with lights blazing and horns and sirens blowing and we were greeted at every point by waving spectators. Finally, the parade arrived back at the Searles Camp Site and dispersed into the night.
To cap it all off, Lincs Wings won the certificate for the best attended Region.
Here are just a few of the many photos we took that day to give you an idea of the event, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
