Here are photos from different events and visits during 2016

Well the biking season finally got off to a start with our monthly meeting at Langworth Hall on 17 April 2016. In fact it was good to see that most of our members took to the road on 2 wheels since it was a clear sunny (although a little nippy) day. The meeting went ahead as planned and we were joined by 2 visitors, Mick and Helen Ainsley, from Yorks Region. One of the biggest items on our agenda was to agree a ride-out program for 2016. Mark had kindly offered a list of possible events and these were quickly added to by inputs from around the floor. As this was to be the first of many ride-outs, Mark was keen to get responses from people that they would attend.
After the meeting finished, 4 bikes (8 people) set off for Doddington Hall led by Doug and Sue. Unfortunately, Doug missed his calling and a few road junctions so we ended up taking a mystery tour around the Lincolnshire lanes until we suddenly popped out next to Caenby Corner. Ah ha, now he knew where he was and we headed south on the A15 and managed to wave at Martin and Christine as they headed North on their way home - who knows what they were thinking ! Still, back on track, we found our way to Doddington and stopped for a quick bite to eat before setting off on our separate ways home. Thanks Doug and Sue for an interesting day out.

Hunstanton Light Parade - 19 March 2016
Despite the cold wind, drizzle, rain and mucky road surfaces, yours truly rode off to the Hunstanton Light Parade last weekend to have a really great day out. Unfortunately, the cold wet weather, together with prior arrangements, seemed to have frightened off the rest of the Lincs Wingers but at least one of us showed up to fly the flag. I also met Doug and Sue who attended for the weekend but Doug was still not able to ride after his operation.
Despite the poor weather, Norfolk Wings once again organised a great event with about 31 bikes/trikes on display and joining the Light Parade in the evening. Monies raised from the event went towards the Air Ambulance Charity funds and lots of people called by to see the event and to ask questions about our bikes.
